My sweetheart; she is a one of a kind 17.6’ “custom-designed” gel-coat fiberglass ocean kayak designed by Karel Tresnak and me when I lived in Hawaii…Karel is famous world-class fast water kayak designer from Sweden who now designs and builds only Custom Hawaiian Racing Canoes.

She has feather-adjustable sea rudder, a “custom-designed” fiberglass & graphite composition paddle with ~30 degree offset and with a bow or aft leash (That acts as a sea anchor if you dump or just to slow you down when at rest) and a “custom-designed” removable bow plane. (That keeps you from going submersible when paddling out or coming off a big wave.)

She has two water tight storage compartments. One is a small screw off with mesh bag centered between your legs for flares, whistle, wallet, cell phone, etc. The other is a large ~12”x12”strap-down hatch aft-compartment for food, water, and other gear it’s about ~28”x12”x12”inside!

She’s built for the long paddles between the islands of Hawaii and the 30’- 40’ foot waves of Oahu’s North Shore and the Pipe line. She is the fastest kayak I ever paddled in the 35+ years that I paddled through out the US and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans as well on lakes and estuaries’.

Unfortunately and only because I am now disabled and unable to paddle her so, I have to sell my baby to let someone else enjoy her. She has hung in my garage since 1999! She has never been grounded (run to the beach or rocks or on land) and she is in PERFECT condition! Her design cost was well over 7.5K; and she has been a dream to paddle!
