  • @fb100000944548853 1 bell and Starz stumbles up the aft compaionway from the locked keg storeroom for the ships grog,,,,, Funny Gracie how Jolly forgot to take the keys from me hip when he banished me to the glory fore bein’ fallin down drunk,,,,,, Starz makes his way across the aft deck to the stearage stairway under the command deck,,,,, aye Gracie me plan is working out fair, too long I have been on shore, granted my skills as bowson have worked out well, the Inn on the hill of the smaller island near the marsh glisening in the distence, signal fires at the gunneries at each of the forts, a small flotilla of fast class attack ships on patrol and the master blaster of all gun boats the fabulous Glory more gun platform than most of the Caribean Spanish forts. Though slow she is powerful and no match be the Spanish galion fleet with a fast attack escort at her side,,,,, Starz lays his hands on the wheel helm and strokes it like a lady as he turns up his magic hidding flask of rum,,,,,,To be continued @captwaypoint

Morning watch 1 bell,………..Capt Jolly slowly walks on board the HMS Glory. The early morning air and the calm of the Cove is inviting to Jolly. He was remembering a time when he was a kid and his Father took him down to the coast of Louisiana. They were to work on a boat pulling for shrimp. They meet the Captain early in the morning and started working immediately. The nine year old Jolly lost no time sleeping that night. And now he protects that memory very closely and silently. As he stands there look out over the Cove and into the open Sea it’s as if he hear the old Captain barking commands and evaluating their performances.
Light foot steps behind him. The cabin boy brings Jolly’s Hot stiff black coffee. This was as close to a son that Jolly would get….and Jolly said Thank You son..
It’s like we never sleep, Captain sir,,,,,, Starz slowly approaches Jolly near the forward gangway sipping his spiked coffee savoring the rum punched java bean….. And you never stop drinking Starz that worries me…Starz grins his evil grin…. No sir I never do fer if’in the pain sets in I will be a stiff as a corpse, tha trick is not to drink too much as not to be battle ready sir,,,,, but I guess you knew that ashore, never could pull the woolens over your eyes Jolly….. Starz stands at Jolly’s side like 2 sharks circling in the water to come at ease 2 steps behind…. Too long ashore, I was havin’ a wee bout of shoreleave sir, makes me sick. Tha crew all asleep, this has to be the best time to be a Captain onboard the ship of the line looking over the harbor,,,, The Corsairs clear the south point of the cove and signal the all clear to the battery and make way for the main docks for the changing of the guard. 2 Bells rings out… Strange Jolly how there has not been a reprisal from his royal pain in tha ars. I did after all take his prize ship and fully expected an expiditionary force long before now but then again we have wiped out the majority of his fleet in these southern waters. Jolly grimises at the distant horizon as if he could smell the enemy cooking breakfast….. Well off to start the bisquits and ham with redeye gravey sir, the remander of the dry goods will be here at 6 bells sir so I’ll rattle the crews cages at 5 bells sir. @captwaypoint

  • @fb100000944548853 Out near Madeira, a 50-gun galleon lay becalmed, sails hanging limply, crew disgusted, and captain frustrated. The Captain, Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio — known to his one friend as “Tabby” — swore fluently in Spanish, because that was his native language. As he swore, he slapped the ship’s company priest back and forth across the face, back and forth, back and forth. “God cannot do this to ME,” he yelled, slapping the priest again and again and again. “You had better get down in your cabin and start talking to Him, right away, and make him ****; WE NEED AIR IN OUR SAILS, AND WE NEED IT NOW!” The priest scurried away, bowed, and ran below to start talking to God…right after he would…test…the sacramental wine…to be certain it was still, good. The captain turned to his Executive Officer: “Numero Uno,” he said (because that was the Executive Officer’s name; his father had been a sailor and had wanted his son to be a sailor, and had named him accordingly), “launch the boats and tie off lines to the bow. If God will not push us to America, these swine can row us there.” Numero Uno — who had wanted nothing more out of life than to design women’s dresses and who had been made Executive Office solely because Tabby woujld then have the ONLY Number One in the Spanish Navy actually NAMED Number One — looked to the Second Mate, who pointed out the bow and the launches, and ordered the crew to comply with the captain’s wishes. “NOTHING,” the captain shouted from the quarterdeck, “NOTHING will keep me from blowing that pig of a boat Glory out of the water!”
8 Bells and the Glory is fully stocked with extra powder kegs on the gun deck as Starz stroles down the bloody mile ordering the gun crew to pre-load the canons, upper gun deck he orders ball and chain for demasting shots Fighting deck he orders shot and glass to repel boarders as Jolly walks up to address Starz,,,,, You feel it too don’t you Starz? Starz whips out his magic bottle from nowhere and tosses a double dram back handing the bottle to Jolly,,,,, Aye sir, it was like I could smell a Spanish breakfast cooking at 4 bells over my ham and bisquits, tha hair is standing on the back of my neck and my trigger finger is itchin’ sir sumtin’ feirce! I have signaled the Corsairs to stand off shore and load for battle. Gun decks are ready before the order to set sail, fire crews are fore and aft with axes and dirt, gun crews are loaded for demast, repel boarders, and lower gun crews are loaded to hole the enemy hulls with our heavy guns. Fore deck long nines are loaded for long range shots and one long nine is loaded with shot and glass to rape the enemy command deck sir. We are fully loaded and ready to weigh anchor sir. Spinning Shock and AWE with our fleet, sir, no ship or small fleet can take us alive. Awaiting your order to to put to sea sir,,,, Starz waits patiently as Jolly looks over the ship for a quick tour checking up on Starz intuitive pre-launch orders……… @captwaypoint

  • @fb100000944548853 Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio yelled, ”Bring the priest to me, NOW!” Moments later, the priest, Father Juan Jesus Maria de Jesus Maria Alvarez, Jr. was brought, trembling, to the quarterdeck, in front of Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio. ”Father,” the captain said, ”Stand, and bless you. Indeed, you stand at the right hand of Jesus, for God has made wind, and we speed toward the hateful, agnostic, anemic, Godless, worthless, spineless, no good, useless Americans and their puny, top-heavy, amazingly sluggish, ungainly, slowly-turning boat, the ineptly named Glory. Unless, of course, it was named after the flower, the Morning Glory, in which case it is eptly named, for is it not, indeed, pretty and delicate? Ha, ha ,ha; hahahahaha. Father, why are you not laughing? Father Juan Jesus Maria de Jesus Maria Alvarez, Jr. chuckled, deeply and appreciatively, supplicatively, imploringly, fearfully. ”It is too bad,” he said, ”about the two boats and the men who were in them.” ”What?”, asked the captain. ”Oh, yes, when the wind started to blow and we sailed over them and they all drowned. Well, it is not my fault that they could not row fast enough. Still, I suppose that my Numero Uno, Numero Uno, should have saved them. Okay, to punish him, I will have him design a new cassock for you for mass on Sunday. Is that not a terrible punishment, Father?” ”Indeed,” said Father Juan Jesus Maria de Jesus Maria Alvarez, Jr., this time chuckling knowingly, for Numero Uno was a former alter boy in the good father’s church. ”So,” said Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio in his best ’I run this damned ship and y’all had better know it’ voice, ”let’s head that-a-way and go get those nasty, darned Americans and their nasty darned boat.”

  • @fb100000944548853 as 2 bells sound and Starz finishes his 3rd round of coffee green tea and pure grain sugar with a vanilla bean and cream, the crew fed a full ration and a double ration of rum asleep below Glory sails un feathered over the waves keeping pace with the Corsairs on the graveyard shift. Starz bellows,,,, Deck watch call up the helsman as I go below to start breakfast, stand guard and notify me of any changes until Jolly comes on deck then direct all news to the CON and Jolly will rip you a new one. The Helsman drags *** half hung over from shanties and rum as Starz hand him a mug with a special brown leaf and white powder stired in, the first sip his eyes open to the size of silver dollars and askes for his orders,,,,, Starz replies,,,, Stay the course North by east by east and stay south of the the doldrum line, lesson sail and slow to 1/4 speed for we be trolling for Spanish flesh and a Galleon prize before 7 bells….. Starz makes his way below to start the galley and rouse the cooks. A fine breakfast of Grits with Red Eye Gravy, Bisquits and Eggs, Coffee with Starz special blend of sugar coca and FIRE to bring forth the fighting spectical that is the Glory’s heart and soul. Starz make his way to the Captain’s mess, a plate of chow with one shot of rum and a coffee mug from Hellsfire! Captain Sir! Time to rise to GLORY SIR!

  • @fb100000944548853 Jolly looks to the sky to the south west over the villa atop the looming mountain above the cove as if to say fare the well to whom I had no clue, just then the winds reverse course and the colors snap to a new direction and then he lets loose a rising roar,,,, Starz, the order is given! Starz leaps over the rail to the stearage deck skipping the stairs like a zealful 12 year old cabinboy straight to the wheel and shouts to the top of his lungs below,,,, ALL HANDS ON DECK! UP THE RIGGING YOU YARD APES, LET LOOSE THE ALL FURLING GASKETS, RELEASE THE SHEETS, FORECASTLE MAN THE CAPSTAN HOIST THE ANCHOR, HOIST ALL SAIL, LET LOOSE THE GALLENTS, RELEASE THE GALLENT SHEETS, STEP LIVELY YOU SCAVERNOUS DOGS, DECK APES SHEET THE SAILS HOME….. Glory’s new sails and masts SNAP taught and the ship lunges forward like a canon shot as Starz sees the error of the ships course toward Walk The Plank Inn,,,, BRACE ABOUT YOU WORTHLESS LANDLUBBERS! ALL HANDS PREPARE TO JIVE HO TO CHANGE COURSE AND TACK! Glory lunges forward and Jolly grabs the railing to steady himself shouting below to stearage,,,,HOW MUCH EXTRA SAIL AREA DID YOU ADD STARZ GOOD GOD MAN, COURSE IS GOOD HOLD HER THERE! Starz bellows BELAY THAT ORDER WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO THE CAPTAIN HARD TO PORT! THE ANCHOR WILL DRAG US ASHORE! Glory begins to pull on her short rhode as the anchor in the sand begins to bite the bow lunges downward and SNAP she rights herself stearing to starboard heading straght to the marshes and Walk The Plank Inn as Starz compensates the helm and aims out to sea,,,, MAN THE CAPSTAN I WANT THAT ANCHOR LASHED BEFORE WE REACH THE THE REEFS! LOOK ALIVE YOU DEAD MEN CORPSES HALL AWAY HALL AWAY ALL! Glory under full sail in under ten minutes and above hull speed she begins to plain as she lifts out of the water like a Brigantine half her size, steady on her new skegs sort of keels port and starboard with her longer rudder she flys to sea over the waves past Walk The Plank Inn as the lubbers cheer. Freaked out by her sudden flight from harbor the Corsairs change tack and let loose all sail to keep pace with the unbeleavable redesign of Glory. Glory takes the lead of the pirate fleet,,,,, LET LOOSE THE THE FLOAT AND GIVE ME A SOUNDING IN SPEED The reply is 18 knots on a fully loaded ship, satisfied Starz looks over his sholder and says,,,, Helms man maintain course and stand by for orders, then yells ITS SPANISH BLOOD I SMELL ON THE SEAS BOYS, GALLEONS ARE AFOOT IN OUR SEAS AND A ROYAL SPANISH DEATH WE WILL GIVE THEM ALL BREWHAHAHAHAHA! and the crew cheers,,,, HAZAR! HAZAR! HAZAR! Starz soberly makes his way to the comand deck to Captain Jolly’s side,,,, Sir, accept my appoligies,,,, Starz grins as he goes over her specs, with blood in his eyes he hands Jolly the flask of rum where he white nuckled the railing to hold on,,,,, You see Sir she is flying 225% more sail with re-enforced bulkheads and masts, heavier stays all around and 2 full keels port and starboard with a deaper rudder and, plains that lift her out of the water raked fore and aft,,,,, she delivers 200% more horse power and 50% more speed in light winds. We will have to reef her plenty in heavy seas and wind but I am saving the best for last sir just trust your filthy drunk of an engineer for if it is gold you want, a war ship with no match you have. She is a fat girl with 1,951.8 tons but she flys like a eagle on the thermals! When you really feel the need for speed just yell ”Let Loose the Secret Weapon!” sir and I will blast your nerves, and brace yourself as we go straight to the MOON sir! Wall eyed at Starz and half angry at the surprise Jolly tosses back a shot for his nerves as he passes the bottle to Starz. Starz tosses back a shot as Jolly squares away the commands and give the helm it’s new course. As they look to open sea, the Corsairs struggling t keep pace, all sails set Jolly looks to Starz,,,,, My God man you have let loose the demon on my flag ship, Glory is her name and expect you to keep that demon under control sir,,,,, Starz bolsters up his chest,,, AYE AYE JOLLY SIR! I am the best helmsman you have ever seen count on me to keep the demons in the pocket fore between the two of us sir we will unleash RomanHell upon the seas and no navy shall stand with weight of the American Privateer! Jolly half turns red in the face with anger at his helmsman/engineer/cook/ships drunkard/ jerk/ god knows what else and does not know to hate him or love him,,,, Take the first watch Starz with this new devil of a design fine tune her to the Corsairs speed since they are no match for us anymore. Maintain this course. Jolly starts down to his cabin as Starz orders a tankard of coffee,,,,dumping a white powder wraped in a green leaf into his mug sipping deeply he seems revived…… AVAST BOSWAN, STAND DOWN ALL CREW, ORGANIZE A TEAM OF 10 STRONGEST MEN FOR SHEET TRIM, MAN THE CAPSTANS PORT AND STARBOARD AND TRIM ALL SAILS UNDER MY COMANDS,,,,,, Once again Starz leaps the rail to the Stearage deck and releaves the helmsman. He grabs the wheel not like a mad man but more like a lover as he bellows commands to the 10 man crew and trims the ship. Looking over the bow as the bones in Glory’s teeth splash over into his face he begins to sing,,,, Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me.
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot,
Drink up, me ’earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don’t give a hoot,
Drink up me ’earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me.
We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack,
Drink up, me ’earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack,
Drink up, me ’earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me.
We kindle and char, inflame and ignite,
Drink up me ’earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we’re really a fright,
Drink up, me ’earties, yo ho.
We’re rascals, scoundrels, villians, and knaves,
Drink up, me ’earties, yo ho.
We’re devils and black sheep, really bad eggs,
Drink up, me ’earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me.
We’re beggars and blighters, ne’er-do-well cads,
Drink up, me ’earties, yo ho.
Aye, but we’re loved by our mommies and dads,
Drink up me ’earties, yo ho.
then mumbles really BAD eggs AVAST, haul in the port side main sheet let loose the head sails and aft gaft one quarter! HAUL AWAY HAUL AWAY ALL!

  • @fb100000944548853 ”Glory”, The new Glory, my long time friend Captain Starz, has done more than a great job in creating the super ship. new lines and rigging, new color and even a new smell bled off the ship 24/7. And how about the crew have they any reason to die for the Glory. Some much technology, will the crew relax thinking that the ship will take care of them and protect them from resolution?
As Capt Jolly thought about this fact his uncles word came to his mind. The sword does not save your life but the person that controls sword that will keep you from the harm of the blade. And yet another point to ponder is the crew is really three crew. How do ya have the crew to act as one ?
Captain Jolly douses all light and goes the double portal and open them wide and before him is the beautiful open ocean as inviting as mother’s arms. Jolly steps to the sill and sets down to think.
The Spanish galleon Buitre Roto rode a stiff wind out of the east and a following sea, all sails full. Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio made certain the course was correctly set for his rendezvous, knowing that his adversaries on the wallowing Glory would be heading directly toward where they suspected him to be. “Hah,” he interjected; “HAH! Those American dullards, those American swine. I **** in their general direction. They have no clue what they are up against — they have no clue WHO they are up against. Me, Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio, the premier captain of the entire Spanish Navy, the premier navy of all the world, the world that is Espania, yes, THAT world. HAH! Those termites, those cockroaches, those bugs from America. They have undoubtedly taken the bait and are coming after me, going to where they THINK I am. Little do they know that I am not where I am, but here, which is not were I was and they think I am, or used to be, but will not be, for I will be somewhere else, entirely, and not there. HAH! AND, the plans I set in motion all those months ago shall come together and I, I, Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio, shall crush them! No matter how many stupid songs they sing.” “I’m sorry, my captain,” said Numero Uno, standing beside him, “but, did you say something?”
On the fantail, Starz sees the windows of the Captain’s quarters swing open. He knows Jolly is sitting on the sill contemplating discipline aboard his ship and drinking in the view of mother sea. 4 Bells rings out as the sun begins to light up the sky. Starz bellows out,,,,, LOOKOUTS ALOFT, TAKE THE SPY GLASSES TO THE HORIZONS AND FIND ME MY SPANISH PRIZE! Glory still under full sail on day 2 of her maiden voyage Starz orders the gun deck crews to keep the powder dry and pack the canons with faughter,,,,, NO MISFIRES ALLOWED! me hearties seal the fuses with wax fore I will have no wet powder ruining my shots,,,, The crew more afraid of Starz than disciplined follows his commands as if it were Jolly’s fore they know he will not spare the lash of the nine tails if they don’t. Starz returns to the command deck above the helm looking over the fighting deck he whips out his glass and scans the horizon for his prey,,,,,
The ”Buitre Roto” under full sail north of the equater.
Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio Commanding on the hunt for the Pirate Ship ”Glory”.

“Where are your buccaneers?” Tabby asked Ol-Flynn. “Under my buccanhat,” replied Ol-Flynn, with an impish grin that raised his line of mustache ever so roguishly.
    The Buccaneers at anchor,,,,

    http://www.passionforthesea.com/members/fb100000944548853/pfts_album/picture/526/

The required number of days have passed. Glory is somewhere in the mid-Atlantic, where her crew are drinking rum and singing bawdy songs, oblivious to the reality that awaits them. Meanwhile, at a safe anchorage on the west coast of the Island of Barbados, the Buitre Roto has anchored with the squadron of Irish buccaneer ships, a meeting set up a month ago by the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-ego Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio. At this moment, the captains of the other six vessels have come aboard the Roto for a conference.
Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio strode across his cabin to greet the first among them, the buccaneer Err Ol’Flynn, a half-Spanish-half-irish ******* buccaneer with no love for the English or their allies, the Americans.
At 8 Bells during the afternoon watch a sail is sighted to the north of Glory. ”Sail HO” shouts aloft and Starz trains his eye off the port quarter,,,, Oh chit, it is the Moken on way with half the Britsh northern fleet on his tail, but what is this they are sailing with her and not attacking her…. Captain Jolly ON DECK if you please sir, What in Posidens name do you make of this Jolly sir? Starz passes him the glass trained on the northern fleet,,,,Jolly reads the comunique in flags on the Moken,,,,, Hold your fire Glory we carry news of the Roto,,,, and the plot thickens as enemies of our enemy becomes our friends,,, the story continues,,,,,,
WHAT in the blue devil of the seven seas is Zenkayaker up to, has he traitored us out? I say ready the secret weapon sir and I will go parlay under a white flag in one Corsair, ready her spinnaker for a fast getaway if it turns foul sir and bring you the news that way we will not commit our fleet to the deep. Jolly draws his signiture deep breath as his anger wells up his face red as the blood boils Signal the Corsairs Starz and go find out if it’s a fight His Royal tail wants and if I should hang Zenkayaker bones from my furthest yardarm fore the gulls to pick at. Starz grins evily as he signals the Corsair closest the Glory, shouting orders as he swings out to meet her he lands on her aftdeck as they peal away to larboard…….
Beating toward the flotilla of British ships the Corsair renamed Wind-chime under the command of Captain Tobar readies her for all out skirmish, broadside and hightailed runaway, Tobar bellows,,, ALL HANDS ON DECK READY BATTLE STATIONS BUT DO NOT RUN OUT THE GUNS, LOBSTERS TO THE FORE DECK, MIDSHIPMAN READY THE YARD SPINNAKERS! Tobar half turns to Starz,,, Starz I hope this is not a fight we are looking at in the teeth of His Royal Majesties guns! Starz looks up toward the enemy ships at the white flag on the Moken and he fills his pistols with fresh powder and balls,,,, I too hope this is a venture and not a sneak attack, Zenkayaker is a slippery fish capable of dang most anything! ALL HANDS PREPARE TO COME ABOUT, BRING ME ALONG SIDE THE MOKEN FOR A PARLAY, BE AT THE READY TO RUN! Wind-chime swings around the Moken’s stern quarter to the larboard as Moken luffs sails allowing ’chime to pull closer as they Parlay,,,, ZENKAYAKER AS I LIVE AND BREATH, HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND AND CHANGED SIDES? NOW SEE HERE STARZ I WILL ONLY DO THAT IF IT IS TO MY ADVANTAGE SIR AND I ANGER AT THOSE WORDS BUT I AM HERE FOR A TRUCE AND AN OFFER FROM HIS MAJESTIES FLOTILA, THE ADMIRAL HAS INTEL AND WISHES TO MEET WITH JOLLY SIR WILL YOU COME ABOARD AND FLY YOUR PENNANT FROM THE ADMIRALS FLAG SHIP? DO WHAT AND BECOME HIS PRISONER? NO IN A WAY HE IS MY PRISONER AND HIS FLOTILLA IS MY ESCORT! Of all the stars in the heavens above,,,, Stars grabs a line and turns to Tobar,,,,, Swing me aboard and if you hear my pistol shot giver a broadside and run for the fleet,,, Starz swings onto the afterdeck of the Moken as the ’chime turns away to station,,,,, After a brief time Starz himself runs up the pennant and hoists the colors of the cove as ’chime and Moken stear for the fleet,,,,,,,
Upon reaching the Glory, both ships shorten sail and a launch is lowered from the Moken. Jolly sees Starz on the bow with Zenkayaker just behind, and a what the heck Royal Navy Admiral astern as they row toward the Glory. Stiff jawed and red as fire Jolly meets Starz amidships at the gangway,,,,, What in the world do you think you are doing Starz? as ZenKayaker and the Admiral clear the gunnel starz whispers in Jolly’s ear ”Just hear them out sir, it all makes sence!” Permission to come aboard Captain Jolly sir,,,, The Admiral at his right hand,,,Jolly says in a rising voice like a question Permission granted? The crew is all groweling like mad dogs as Zenkayaker motions to the aft of the ship Shall we ajorn to the conference room Captain Jolly sir? as a cabinboy apears with an armload of charts and papers Ofcourse, let us go and converse,,,,,
Jolly looks apprehensive as he makes his way below decks to the Captain’s mess and though not armed he looks sternly at Zenkayaker as he graciously leads the Admiral below. Starz follows as he whispers commands to the deckwatch,”if they twitch shootem” and below after the honored party he goes. The deck watch positions themselves causally within reach of all manor of mayhem, grenades, swords, riffles, fire chests with smoldering canon wicks and below decks the gun crews stand by the pulleys to run out the canons at a single word of the Boatswain and the deck of the Moken would be shredded and the hull holed with 24 × 42 pound and 28 × 24 pound balls of lead and steal. At that range the helmsman began to sweat nervously fore the Glory would too be damaged if the magazine blew the Moken to smithereens! A 17th century version of the Mexican standoff with really big guns ensued as the conversation started below decks……all stiff lipped and nervous the Admiral offered the first olive branch Captain Jolly sir, I offer the most sincere congratulations from her Royal Majesty Elizabeth the 1st and has sent these letters of mark to you if you are willing to help us take care of a nasty individual bent on Spanish domination of the southern waters of the Americas. The ship now in your possession though looks nothing like what she once was formerly known as HMS Royal George was indeed against the Crown sir, and Admiral Richard Howe thought he was beyond the reaches of the Crown and became a renegade. Officially the HMS Royal George while under repairs at Portsmouth. Before taking part in another convoy to Gibraltar, she went in to Portsmouth for some last minute repairs: a water release valve (*) in her side needed replacing. As there was insufficient time to take her into dry dock, it was necessary to heel the ship by about seven degrees to allow the caulkers to install the valve below the waterline. Instead of achieving this by attaching ropes to the masts and pulling the ship over from another ship (the normal procedure; in the event of problems, cutting the ropes would restore the ship to her normal orientation), the commanding officer, Waghorn, decided to alter the position of the centre of gravity by moving the guns on one side out, and on the other side in towards the centerline of the ship.
When the work started, not only the crews of about 850, but also some hundreds of visitors, family, friends and trades people were on board. A couple of hours after work started, a carpenter decided that things were starting to go wrong. After the Officer of the Watch ignored his appeal, he went to the commander, who ordered the cannon to be restored to their normal positions. But it was now too late; the angle of heel was too large and water had begun to enter the ship; the ship rapidly turned on her side and sunk. The lucky ones below could escape through the gun ports: only 320 were saved. According to the Hampshire Chronicle about 1400 drowned, amongst them Rear-Admiral Richard Kempenfelt.
This of course is a farce to save face. As you well know the Moken was at the demise of Admiral Richard Howe, sent by the Crown to capture the ship at night and bring Admiral Richard Howe to justice however, a Captain Starz,,,, Starz looks up from his haze of British bull marlarky and rum when his name popped up un-expectantly….. and I have here a full pardon to deliver to him personally. Jolly motions to the crumpled Starz hovering over the bar and booze his magic bottle in his hand and Gracie on his shoulder choking on her rum….. Starz dumfounded steps forward, the scar sir, show me where Admiral Richard Howe cleaved you on your right shoulder. Starz removes his vest coat and reveals his ugly gray m***ed scar….. Then sir this is yours,,,,, The Admiral hands Starz a parchment with the royal seal and politely shakes his hand,,,,, Sir you are a credit to American ingenuity and the British fervor of battle to bring justice to the frontier. Starz eyes get THIS BIG and Jolly comments under his breath to Zenkayaker “there will be no living with that pompous *** after this watch him” as Zenkayaker smirks…. Jolly pipes up after this long winded explanation and British pomp. And of this problem you wish to be rid of Admiral and am I to take it that the Glory is to be my ship without question from the Royal Navy and her majesties blessing? The Admiral re-takes his seat It is sir to be your ship registered as the Privateer Glory of the Royal Navy stealth-fully registered and free, only us here and the Queen know of our alliance and mission here where you are to bring to justice a Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio commanding The Spanish galleon Buitre Roto and his pirate fleet of buccaneers to the bottom of the Caribbean or the Atlantic we care not but his demise the Queen desires the most. Cabin boy the charts. The Admiral spreads out his version of the battle plan with his limited knowledge of the engineering wonders Starz has done to the fleet and Jolly corrects him on the performance of the ships in his fleet and they together revise the battle plan and Starz recognizes the Island of Barbados and goes to get his most recent charts with depth soundings of the arena of battle knowing this will be the mother of all battles not caring if no one ever knows of this covert confrontation. An accord struck and the freedom of all crews secured on all ships of the Pirates’ Cove as well as the freedom of the island and all its inhabitants the meeting is adjourned for celebratory cocktails made by Starz himself. The Admiral orders gin martini 3 olives if you please and is fascinated by the chilled gl*** and proper delivery in a proper gl*** no less of a crisp and sharp Gin Martini. Captain Starz, Zenkayaker was most forthcoming of your redesign of the Glory and her Corsairs indicating that you are a genius without match in leading edge materials and what “hydrodynamics” and what is this of “airfoils” is it to increase horsepower, a term I have never heard of in relation to turbulence generated by the drag of an “aqua foil” of a ships hull? I do not believe he fully understands the dynamics of your discovery and where did you find the one piece “Sequoia” masts of the Glory? These disciplines and science is absolutely un-heard of the world over, a prize of the America’s perhaps or is it the fact, so the stories go, that you have traveled to Davie Jones’s Locker only to return from Satin’s grasp to serve Jolly in some un-holy accord with that demon’s fiery home? Starz grins that evil grin that no one knows what is up his sleeve as he replies,,, He knows of the treachery of the Admiralty fore he himself was once an Admiral of Her Royal Navy and loved one (git your mind outta the gutter you *** fiends!) of the Queen. She once favored him as a scientist but now has declared war on him and all freedom of the British/American dream as the Roman Church has condemned him for using wine at his sacraments. Not trusting the back stabbing Admiralty he playfully says No sir, the stories are all bull and pomp, I am but a simple man addicted to the speed of Mercury and Glory is his winged boots sir that I took my design from thanks be to God. Iron and spit, hinges and sweat, on the backs of the Cove did we make an ocean bound wonder that Neptune and Poseidon both bless and freedom sir, sweet freedom God and Jolly themselves endorses. Starz turns toward a man he barely knows looking him in the eye with his one good eye says to the Admiral whose name he does, and no one there knows,,,, The designs Admiral are Jolly’s sir and no one but him can release me to tell you of the modifications. You know from Zenkayaker only what Jolly wishes to reveal but as for the “Sequoia” I grew them out of me ****! as Starz turns up the magic bottle of rum as the Admiral goes, “where did that come from and should I stand so close to this maggot ridden scoundrel who stinks of facieses and sweat mixed with rum and parrot poop dressed in rags and armed to the teeth. He notes that of all the persons there Starz is the only one armed, but not just with one weapon but many concealed, Starz noting this says, “not to worry, I am the chef and bartender on a ship of pirates sir someone has to defend you,,,,” but it is not him he plans to defend but Jolly, the last great hope he has seen against greed and gluttony who believes in freedom and freedom of religion….. The plot thickens as our story continues,,,,,,,,,

  • @fb100000944548853 Ondeck, the crew stands off nerviously. Jolly emerges on the command deck followed closely by the Admiral with no name,,,, Jolly shouts to all BOYS AND MEN THIS DAY YOU ARE TO BECOME FREE MEN WITH FULL PARDONS FROM HER ROYAL MAJESTY HERSELF. Jaws dropped the crew leans forward to hear,,,, RECONIZED BY THE ADMIRALTY AS PRIVATEERS OF A FREE COVE WE SAIL WITH THE BELSSING OF THE QUEEN AND GOD TO ELIMINATE THE SCURGE OF FREEDOM IN THE SOUTH SEAS OF THE AMERICAS. OUR WIVES CHILDREN AND ALL THE FLEET ARE FULLY PARDONED AND WE SAIL FREE MEN TO OUR FATE IN HER MAJESTIES SERVICE, ONE FLEET INDIVISABLE BY GOD ON AN ACCORD BETWEEN OUR TWO NATIONS,,, The admiral grimises on that note,,,, SAIL AGAINST A COMMON FOE CAPTAIN HERNANDO VELAZQUEZ JOSE MARIA JESUS DE MALACANIA TABASCO y PUNCTILIO AND THE BURITRE ROTO. The Moken breaks out in cheers,,,, TODAY IS A GLORIOUS DAY FOR THE PRIVATEER GLORY AND HER CREW, A GLORIOUS DAY AS OUR FLEET AND YOUNG NATION BECOME FREE MEN TO SERVE THE GREATER GOOD, TO FIGHT THE VALENT FIGHT GOD HAS BESTOWED UPON US, THE FIGHT FOR after a brief pause her screams at the top of his lungs FREEDOM! The crew cheers ”HAZAR! HAZAR! HAZAR!” as the vistors disembark to their own ships,,,, Jolly looks over his shoulder as Starz hands him the magic rum bottle and says WHAT IN THE HADIES FIRE HAVE YOU GOTTEN ME INTO STARZ, THIS BACKFIRES AND I WILL HAVE YOUR NUTS FOR GUARDERS!
Nervously below decks in the Captain’s personal quarters Starz begins to explain his actions since the capture of Starz own ship,,, Jolly, a man with no equal in this day and time I see as a visionary of what we both hold dear, freedom,,,,, corruption in organization we see together, half truths portrait as whole we know that the power of the crown is forfeit no matter who is on the throne of not only Britain but the Holy Catholic,,,, Jolly’s eyes turn blood red but fade as Starz explains,,,, Church,,, ah sir are you OK?,,,,,You tread on dangerous grounds of heathens and the damed sir!,,,,,Hear me out Jolly my friend. Your very soul depends on this sir with all due respect fore if you condemn me here I will once again fade away and my crew is forfeit. As you well know I am Admiral Richard Howe and into battle we have flown. This is not treachery of the British Crown sir but my own personal holy war against the Holy Roman Catholic Church that you, a Protestant have also declared. Sir Irish by decent you have not been in society, may they rot, and the Catholic Church has not only declared war against the rightful Irish but also the Scotts and the Episcopalian faith all because we use port wine as the sacrament of the blood of Jesus Christ as was done at the last supper and believe in the rights as men above the Crown and throne of ROME the ******** who have tried all along to take over beloved Britain. Let the Socialites destroy Britain, the Queen is corrupted by society and ROME, let us make the land of the meek since we all have been driven by the Muslims from the holy land, even the Jews need be our protection and you have let all sorts of life into our cove a true melting pot of culture and most of all FREEDOM! It has given birth to new technology and the power to free all mankind. I think that our friendship will deliver Gods child of freedom for all mankind and the meek will inherited the earth……. Starz watches Jolly as he rubs his head in agony over the massive words this vagabond drunkard scalawag has thrown upon his shoulders. Is he a demon out for his soul or a messenger of God that he is on the right track, ENOUGH!!! Leave me to my demons as I fight for the glory of God, Starz fills his bottle and Gracie’s too of the finest rum onboard…. As Jolly ponders the powerful words he makes his way to steerage and relieves the watch to stand alone where here always wanted to be, he stokes the helm as though it was his lover and scorns the deckhand and helmsman below. Under full sail he guides the Glory over the 35 foot waves gingerly and leaves the fleet behind unable to keep pace except Windchime under his half French half Spanish father who slips up on the larboard. Starz shouts, THE GAME IS AFOOT FATHER! and the fleet cruises into history as the plot thickens under the fire of God’s wrath,,,,, Meteors stream across the sky lighting the way to their fate, Tobar grins the same evil grin as Starz as they plow ahead to the Island of Barbados where the fate of freedom and the so called Crown awaits God’s judgment,,,,, Fade to Black”
”So,” Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio said to his good friend, the rakishly handsome and charming buccaneer Err Ol’Flynn, ”What good news have you for us this fine day?” Ol’Flynn smiled beguilingly (in the direction of the ex-altar boy Numero Uno, disturbingly enough) and replied, ”My Captain, etc. etc. etc., our very good friends the Vikings, under their blood-thirsty, ferocious, venal, and greedy leader Timmy the Red have agreed to join us in our quest to eliminate the beautiful, calm, peaceful Atlantic of the verminous, scurrilous, scabrous, disgusting American and English allies. And, they say, the sooner the better!”
”So,” Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio said, ”We have your six vessels and how many — 12, 18, 24??? — viking vessels to help us? They can board the English and American boats while we pound them with our superior canons, no?” ”Yes, my Captain,” replied Ol’Flynn; ”Our superiorly aimed and armed canon will demast and emasculate the sissy English and American ships, and the Vikings will board them and skewer the crews, making shish-ka-bobs of their sailors. The Americans and English will never know what hit them. While they are busy unionizing and discussing vacations and holidays, we will carve them pieces, because we treat our sailors as equals, and they beat them into the ground like dogs.” Tell your men, and the Vikings, to make ready to sail!”

  • @fb100000944548853 ”Destination Unknown” looks harmless enough, like the local inhabitants on a fishing excursion over looked by the Spanish/ Irish/ Viking armada for it bore no flags of nations and was crewed by locals. Unseen in the push pit was a lady who was no lady and little did they know she was a spy in command of a scout vessel not a passenger. Captain Bella tails the Armada for a bit to project their course and falls off to cast lines as if she was fishing at the edge of the horizon……. Meanwhile across the Atlantic the Alliance vessels make excellent time coming up the blind side of the Spanish Armada to a rendezvous predetermined months ago…..
Err Ol’Flynn, that rakish devil, raised his golden goblet in a toast to Bella. ”Thou art as beautiful as thou art deceitful,” he said to her. ”Thy charms art as vast as thy bosom, and I would sail thy seas, plying my keel in thy waters, if only thou were not in the employ of the English-American scum.” Bella, ever on the lookout, as is a stout line, for a good lay, looked Ol’Flynn directly in the eye, raised her goblet, and whispered, ”If thy anchor is as vast as thy ego, perhaps we may come to an agreement. Just how long is thy rode? Is it sufficient to the depths it might plumb?” No cad his cod, Ol’Flynn smiled, if it were possible, even broader, for broad was a term he knew well. ”My lady.” he syruped, thickly and sweetly, ”Our agreement shall be horizontal, if only you will but divulge the nature of your mission. Your passion shall rise to new heights and overcome — again and again — and again — your supposed allegiance to the the Atlantic vermin. Liz and her English chancres, and the sores that sail from America, are little more than fly-scat in history. Tis true that Spain and the Vikings are meant to rule the earth. Come with me — again and again — and again — and we shall dominate!”
As it happened many times before, scum thinking charm would get them somewhere with her, Bella saw straight through Err’s intentions of reporting back any information given up by her. But she had been on watch many hours and had partaken in her share of the rum she had picked up on her last trip in to New Orleans before she headed back out to sea. The poor captain had lost it to her in a game of poker and had not wanted to pay her so her crew loaded it on board in the dead of night and Bella taught him a lesson that paying a debt to her was better than your whole inventory going up in smoke…tying a match to the tail of a rat and lighting it , the rat ran straight for the wharehouse and a kaboom and flames could be seen for miles. Feeling some fun was in order she was interested in making Ol’Flynn feel safe enough for her to get him in a comprimising situation she could use to her advantage. Asking him to meet her below and telling him to feel free to enjoy himself, she whispered in his ear she was no missionary and was bored with the missionary position so he had better be creative. Smiling at how easy he had succeeded at bedding her and as positions changed she was able to go atop him and when Err was the most relaxed she bound his hands and did her work…she whispered she was very excited because she knew he was about to make her all wet…waiting for Bella to untie him it finally dawned on him the lady was no fool…realizing he had been beaten at his own game by the one woman he had heard stories for many years he waited his fate…Captain Bella knowing what was at stake goes on deck and scans the blue waters below. Sharks circling the ship waited to see if she would be their next meal for the night. She dives swiftly under Ol’Flynn’s ship and ties off the rudder with the line she held her skirts with and takes the saber she had found on deck and had slipped under her skirts while Err had been enthralled with her silky white bosom jams it in between the ship and rudder. She knows this will block any further movement of the ship because no one on board but Bella would dive with the sharks…she does take a moment to go aboard and kiss the man who felt betraying America was worth it.As she is walking out of the cabin she quietly mentions his ship is dead in the water…just like something else that was dead in the water when Err realized he had been bested…Back on ”Destination Unknown” she kind of feels sorry for Err…handsome he was but betraying America has consequences…

  • @fb100000944548853 As Err Ol’Flynn lay there, tied to his rack, in a compromising position in his birthday suit with a pink bow tied around his spent mast, (this part, THE FEATHER, was left out and you will need to ask Bella, if you think you can escape the final outcome)
    Who would find him at morning call or the crew try to take command of the ship (steerage that is);
Would it be the cabin boy?
    Would it be his #1?
Would it be the jackal next in line, for Captain of the ship, which was no friend to Ol’Flynn?
Err Ol’Flynn in blissful sleep below in his cabin does not know his ship has been disabled yet until the night watch discoverers and Destination Unknown is sailing off over the horizon to the south. A trap has been sprung and now to see if the master race takes the bait. Further south a massive armada moves silently north tracking small kegs in the sea, one has a bell and a note,,, Starz reaches out to the mate as he hands him the note and reads to Captain Jolly,,, Moving North by North West, about to be boarded, last note and marker before they are upon us, will give em the slip, wink, and meet you to lure them to their doom. Bella. Well now Jolly sir the game is definitely afoot. If I know Bella that ship she was on is now disabled and floating helpless temporally, again she uses her charms to bait the fools into our traps. That would put the enemy fleet somewhere near Marie Galante. Bella is under orders to sail due South and if we sail West by North West past Martinique’s northern tip we shall meet her in due time and a smaller enemy group will be chasing her down thinking she is alone,,,,, HELM WEST BY NORTH WEST FLAGS INFORM THE FLEET! Jolly shouts as the fleet turns to their new heading and sails into history,,,,,,
The officers huddle over the mound of parchments, and in a hushed yet sinister whisper Belmont devulges his plan.
”Sir, we will be out gunned and out manned,” offers Cozy.
Scarred Geoffery, without hesitation draws his pistol and shoots Cozy dead.
”Any other comments? No…good. Then ready the ship for battle. Mr. Drumble, you shall replace Cozy as Firtst Officer. I have waited long to avenge the defeat I suffered at the hands of Starz.”
Silently the officers leave. Belmont, now alone says out loud…”At last. Vengence shall be mine.” He fingers the scar which runs down the middle of his face from widow’s peak to chin, disecting the nose. He laughs as the ship turns to the south.

Meanwhile, just over the horizon, Captain Geoffery Belmont of the Anteros, known as ’Scarred Geoffrey”, assembles his officers in his cabin.
”Gentlemen, we about to plunder treasure beyond value! It is my intent to sack and sink the Glory. How, you may ask? With cunning and stealth.”
Mr. Cozy, roll out the charts.”

75 miles North West of Martinique’s Northern point Desitination Unknown meets up with the fleet as they change course again to North West by Northwest toward the island of St. Croix and deaper waters…. Captain Jolly sir, we have the Destination Unkown off the starboard bow. Starz have Bella come aboard for a full report……. and the fleet continues deep into the Caribean…..
Bella stands on her quarterdeck, bosom proudly outthrust. Very proudly outthrust, for it can do no other. But, alas, Bella is not a happy sailorette, for she has been bound to the rail by Timmy the Red, the Viking, about whom Bella forgot during her evening of divertissement with Err Ol’Flynn, whose duty it was to distract the wench. Nothing she has up her skirt will help her now, for the Vikings are in firm control of Destination Unknown, and Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio is leading his fleet on a course designed to keep his ships upwind of the despised enemy. In anticipation of closing with them, and being upwind, the captain has ordered his chef to prepare an extra-special version of beans, chilis, and rice to be served to each man at each meal. ”Those English and American swine want close combat, do they?” the good captain asked – rhetorically, of course; ”Well, then, they shall get more than they bargained for.”

Ah, Timmy the Red, the viking who has Bella bound to the rail was so busy with her he had not paid attention to the fact it was growing darker by the minute and in the fog off in the distance did not see Capt Jolly and Starz crew rowing over for an invite of dining, dancing and cohorting with the two fine gentlemen…Their boat came up blindsiding the blackhearted low scumming vikings on board…Bella leaned forward and breathed sweetly into Timmy the Red’s neck and said softly ”Kaboom”…Timmy dropped to his knees and out cold Bella kicked him aside and told Mystic Rose, to untie her and make fast of her work…And thanks for taking so long to get here with that gun and knocking him over the head…Mystic Rose had lost her ship to Bella in a card game many moons ago and since she had no port she called home joined Bella in her adventures…If Bella was indesposed it was understood by crew Mystic Rose bellowed the commands…The Vikings with their squirrly red hair were soon taken prisoner and transported back to Capt Jolly and Starz…let them deal the punishment…Timmy the Red would probably queal his guts like the pig he was….meanwhile Bella got ready to come aboard with her bosom proudly outthrust to report to Capt Jolly and Starz of her accomplishments…She kicked Timmy the Red once more so he would remember the day he reckoned with Capt Bella…then she leaned back in the row boat and stared up at the stars and asked herself….when will men stop thinking lady pirates are bad luck for a boat…then she thought of a few who had shown her she was indeed very good luck for them….
Having come aboard and greeting Capt Jolly and Starz they all sat down on the top deck so Bella could enjoy the night air and enjoy the breeze. Capt Jolly invited Bella and Starz to a game of poker to start the evening…Discussing how Bella had figured Err Ol’Flynn out as the traitor he was it was learned that earlier in the month while Bella was at port and buying supplies for Destination Unknown for her next trip out Mystic Rose had been enjoying drinks in the local tavern when Err Ol’Flynn came sauntering in with his usual self assured arrogance and offered Mystic Rose a row in the hay…But before the tavern was emptied by them a certain Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctillo sits down at the table and annoyed that Ol’Flynn can’t for one moment stay away from the wenches starts his talk right there in front of Mystic Rose about his plans to capture Glory and slowly string up Capt Jolly and Starz…Mystic Rose not able to stand the stench of the two men quickly downed her drink and grabs hold of the first handsome buccaneer passing her and screams out that he had held her breast as he passed by her which causes good grog to be thrown in the air and fist to fly…as the diversion is played out Mystic Rose slips out back and towards the docks to report back to Capt Bella. As the cards are being dealt and Starz has lost quite a sum to Bella and starts thinking of ways to win it back he makes a mistake…Just as he is reaching for the card he had hidden for just a time as this he feels a very small cold metal touch to his cheek…Judy, Bella’s monkey that had come aboard with her had been taught many years ago when playing poker you play the hand dealt, pulled her custom silver pistol out and touched the cheek of Starz and she would have pulled the trigger if Capt Jolly had not chuckled and said ”Bella, you and I have played for years together sometimes to your demise and sometimes to mine”. ”You are amongst friends and Starz here I think has just learned a very valuable lesson…At that Judy put her pistol away and wondered over to the lush yellow bananas that had been put out for her pleasure…Starz folded and we got back to discussing the next plan of action…and of course drinking the rum….as much of it as we could…

  • @fb100000944548853 ”So, my dear Captain Scarred Geoffrey,” Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio said to — who else? — Captain Scarred Geoffrey, ”Are we ready to deal death, mayhem, destruction, and noxious gasses to those English-American pigs?” ”Tabby,” Geoffrey replied, smiling hugely, ”I have dreamed about this for most of…well, a good portion of…maybe a bit more than a good portion of…let us say, a large portion of my adult life. And I am most happy to be here with you, anticipating what we shall soon bring about. But, I am sad about one thing, truth be told.” ”What could possibly be making you unhappy in this most propitious hour?” Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio asked. ”To be honest, ” Scarred Geoffrey replied, confidentially, ” it has been far too long since I have nestled my faced between the proud hoots of my former love, Captain Bella, and I would that I could would could have that opportunity, one more time. They are such marvelous persimmons, melons, so tempting, so proud, so wondrous. After all, is that not what women were made for? They are clearly not the equals of men when it comes to strategy and tactics; bed, BED, that is what women were made for. And, also, laundry.” ”Ah, Geoffrey, you are so perceptive, and so honorable. When Ol’Flynn sobers up, the three of us will be unconquerable!”
Aboard the Glory safe and sound Bella relaxes with a brandy after supper and a Cuban cigar dressed sultry in a bar maids outfit flattering of her figure but Starz and Jolly were not falling into her traps either as they mused over the news of Punctilio’s fleet’s location and plans to stay upwind like that was to his advantage. Jolly lays out the charts and begins thus,,,, Starz, as always Punctilio’s ego will be his demise, your vengeance for the death of your family is at hand. His fleet is here above the wind as to take advantage of his speed down wind to over take us with maneuverability and speed as his allies and though you have vastly improved the point and maneuverability of all the ships in the fleet Glory will have no problem taking him up windward but the British cannot keep pace with us nor can they point as high into the wind. This port and starboard,,,ah,,,, Skeg sir a form of deep keel,,,,right cannot be fitted in time before Punctilio over takes us but he does not know of the Cove and her fortifications. To him it is not but a deserted island among thousands of islands. Bella burps ever so daintily and whips out her dagger to use as a pointer as not to obscure the features on the chart. As we all well know New Orleans and the mighty Mississippi river is suffering a major flood and the currents in this region are swift through the islands, if we turn North now we can skirt these currents to arrive at the cove a full 3 days before Punctilio and make preparations to receive his ego and deflate it. He will have to fight the unseen currents thinking he is making good time but will realize too late that he is moving slowly against the currents…. Jolly grins Starz evil grin and Starz puts in his two bits,,, As you know Jolly sir, we have dispatched Captain Tobar 2 nights before to the Cove and he is already there building the diversions,,,, I say we divide the fleet and maneuver into a pen-sure attack and squeeze the life out of the Spanish/ Irish/ Viking armada in a round about attack to take Punctilio completely by surprise. Parts of the Fleet will take a pounding sir no doubt for Punctilio is no fool and is heavily armed but I see no other way to lure him in without the Glory beaconing him at anchor a prize without her defenses up helpless at anchor,,,,SAY WHAT?,,,,Hear me out Jolly, I have a plan, time for the Admiral to join us sir to finish the plans as we sail to the Cove……. As we pull away from the Captain’s window the talk fades and the Glory labors on northward to her fate and we fade to black,,,,,
Aboard the Anteros, Scarred Geoffrey assembled the crew . His gunner, Black Bryan was a stout fellow from the Herbedes that hated Starz as much as the Belmont. Bryan had met Starz in battle before, in the English Channel and had spent several days afloat and clinging to a plank from what was left of the sunken ship on which he had served. It was his intention to sink to Glory and have Starz be the fellow in the drink.
”Men,” started Scarred Geoffrey, ”we are now part of a greater floatilla that is in pursuit of the Glory. Let the others take the brunt of the battle, I am only interested in the Glory, and once she is tired from the battle we will make our move!”
”Aye, Capt’n,” the crew shouted in one voice.
”The booty from our victory will be divided equally among the crew.”
”Yah!” cried the men of the Anteros.
”My reward will be the life of her master, Starz!” said Scarred Geffrey.
    ”and mine,” thought Black Bryan.
The fleet ready for combat all stations ringing in Starz moves the Glory, Moken and the Corsairs save one to the far side of the Southern Cannonade out of sight from the northern approach where they held station as the crows nest signaled Punctilio’s fleet’s approach. The largest of the British fleet was camouflaged with a floating mirage, a board that made the British ship look like the Glory from a distance at anchor. With the other fleet ships soft anchored and at battle stations the British waited for Punctilio’s fleet’s to round the point. From sea you could not detect the forts and cannonades, it looked as if Punctilio’s fleet’s had caught Starz with his pants down at a house of ill repute, Walk The Plank Inn, but that too was full of marksmen and the captain of the guard was dressed like Starz. Cautiously Punctilio’s fleet’s approaches as Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio looks through his spyglass at the fake Starz looking like he was partying it up with some prostitutes,,,, Those termites, those cockroaches, those bugs from America, the verminous, scurrilous, scabrous, disgusting American and English allies are idiots at anchor, they can watch from shore as I destroy their fleet and turn ashore to kill them all and burn their precious island to dirt. HELM BRING US WITHIN FIRING RANGE OF THE ENEMY FLEET, ALL HANDS TO STATIONS PREPARE TO BOARD THE GLORY, SIGNAL THE FLEET TO OPEN FIRE ON THE REST OF THE bRITISH AND SEND THEM TO THE BOTTOM. READY, STEADY BOYS AND FIRE! Just then the false Glory drops her camoflage and opens fire as the north and south canonades begin their bombardment of the enemy fleet. This signals Jolly,Starz and Tobar to begin their deadly run and as the fleet rounds the point Starz bellows,,, Let loose the secret weapon and let fly the kite,,,, as a canon shot launches a huge kite that unfolds at 200 feet in the air, the Glory lunges forward and triples her speed…. LONG NINES PREPARE TO FIRE AT WILL WHEN IN RANGE, #4 LONG NINE RAKE HER COMMAND DECK, GUN CREWS PREPARE FOR RAPID FIRE PORT AND STARBOARD AS WE GIVE THE BROAD SIDES ’’TILL THEY BLEED! The Glory makes her run straight down the middle of the fleet as the Vikings turn and try to run but it is too late as Glory broadsides every ship in the enemy fleet blasting through, getting blasted with rounds from the Spanish Irish and Vikings. Caught in the deadly cross fire Buitre Roto shutters under the pounding and Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio realizes his folly as he helplessly shouts commands as Glory flys by Starz flips him the bird and prepares to run down the Viking fleet,,,,Jolly shouts to the gun crews as the dead are blasted off the decks of the enemy fleets,,, GUN DECKS RELOAD FAST WE WILL MAKE SKID MARKS OF THE VIKING FLEET AND STOP THEIR BID FOR SHORE! The Moken and the Corsairs begin their mop up run and board the Spanish Fleet to begin the fight hand to hand. The Viking plowed under rammed and shot to splinters Starz bellows,,, ALL HANDS PREPARE TO COME ABOUT, HARD A LEE, CUT LOOSE THE KITE, HAUL IN CLOSE HAULED TO BEAT BACK TO THE FLEET AND BRING ME THE HEAD OF Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio! The British licking their wounds from the decoy action move off shore to catch any ships that try to flee as the Glory slows along side the Buitre Roto demasted and shot to H*LL. Fighting sword to sword fist to fist, the crew of the Glory swing over following Starz as he lands on the Command deck sword in hand he slowly walks up to Punctilio spliting his 1st in command near in half,,,, FOR MY FAMILY AND MY WIFE I WILL KILL YOU Punctilio FOR FIRING ON AN UNARMED SHIP KILLING MY FAMILY,,,,, Starz begings his dodge and parry sword fight with the Spanish dog but is bumped from behind and Punctilio sword peirces his shoulder to the hilt and Starz falls on deck as Punctilio swings up to hack Starz to death but on the downward stroke he is met with Jolly’s sword stopping it cold and breaking his sword. Punctilio the coward dives over the side to save him self and swims for it his ship on fire Jolly slings Starz over his shoulder and the fleet retreats to the Glory. Pulling off the Buitre Roto ablaze she exploads he magazine spent,,,, the battle over the British signal fare thee well and sail off to the east and Jolly takes command of the Glory as Starz is carried off to the surgen……..And the story continues

  • @fb100000944548853 His long time friend, Starz, was dying by all me’s measure and Jolly needed not to lose him too. Jolly demanded Starz to regain their fighting status once again. And then posted a standing order that Starz to have as much rum as he would drink too keep him down to heal his arm, H*ll his body. Four days at Sea and three day in bed and then Starz was able to take his Pirate Juice by himself. Starz did what Jolly commanded, he put together a flier, it’s just no one would expect a three level gun ship to fly like the wind.
So how could Jolly claim Starz’ ship, no that would never happen!
Jolly calls out,”Mr Butters, mind your lose cuff so it does not get caught in the run. When we set a sail we need it to set now without tending to your broken arm.
So this is Starz’ ship and his alone.
Only one ship had his heart!
Our Flotilla took a big loss, but still we was sailed on at the end of the battle due to the well trained Krewe. That was the only reason they made it through. Jolly promised himself and the remaining Krewe that would never happen again. Mark this location by this battle so we will NEVER forget this day. Each time he opens the charts there it is, the day he saw H*ll.
Fourteen Days at sea now and the Krewe have had every combination of sail up and down 6 times each. All 6 watches have a rhythm as they go about their duties. The purpose is clear what is to done. The goal is desired by each soul on board. Now Jolly is feeling the correct fibs. The ship is singing to him like a mistress. He is in love with her but yet it is not his ship…

Capt Bella who was just waking up from the horrible battle scene played out in front of her because of her drunken stupor from the night before finally stumbles down to the surgeon who had worked on Starz and asked how it went….the surgeon states he would be fine most probably. ”Most Probably?” asked Bella showing concern…”Well” says the surgeon, ”Starz has lost quite a bit of blood and his body is cold.He needs warmth from somewhere and the men crew have not found it in their hearts to climb in bed and warm him.” ”Well if that is all it takes it won’t be the first time i have climb in bed with a mate to keep him from his fate of death…Me could use a bit more sleep anyway and with all the rum you have plied him with he will have very sweet dreams for the next few hours.” At that Bella undresses and climbs in bed with Starz and moves very close to his body for the added warmth. his body is indeed very cold and she hopes she is not to late for him…He rouses and moves closer still to rest his head on the most fluffiest pillow he had slept on…was he dreaming…if he was he did not want to wake up…Bella dozes as his body temp over a few hours does start to rise…
Captain Hernando Velazques Jose Maria de Malacania Tabasco y Punctillo had swam back to his burning ship cursing the name Starz the whole time. He could see the crew pretending to row toward him very slowly as if they were discussing whether to actually picked him up from the water or let him drown…he was too busy crying over his broken sword Jolly had broken…where to get another one…do i go to my brothers and take his…it was the same as his given to them both by their lover they shared …or go to Spain and waste time creating the sword that would kill Starz…He yells out over the water to his crew to row faster that his pantaloons were weighting him down…
Jolly now in command of a ship that he can’t accept. It’s just until Starz is back on deck.Mr Bitters Call the Krewe!………………..The battle is your Krewe, all yours. Your execution was perfect and the KITE was our EDGE. As usual I need the commanders debriefings by Dog watch 8 bells. Until then prepare the Glory to her rightful readdyness. The Glory will be back to normal by next sundown. One ration of rum for all then back to task
Jolly was uneasy and the feeling would not go way in fact it is getting unbearable. Helm set a course straight into the wind, match the speed and set here until further notice. Communications send the Cove a message to watch the far side of the COVE for any movement. Aye and tell them to triple the watch. As with the Glory three in the nest and we will work & run dark tonight. No anchor……we will be ready.!
The Krewe are well practiced on a gyve and now can preform it flawlessly.
After a very busy night and with the sun in full contact 0900 Hours with all stations reporting no contacts the ”Glory pulls in to the Cove and the shore Krewe goes to work on the GLORY.
Aboard the Anteros, Scarred Geoffrey was in a rage!
”Those damned Spainies went without us! Well, I have a new surprise for Starz.”
A tall slender man entered the cabin. Itwas Rene VanderHooten, the infamous Dutch pirate known to all as Mad Rene.
Belmont greeted him with a hand shake and a flagon of rum.
”Please make yourself comfortable. I have a proposirion to offer you, VanderHooten, one that will prove profitable to the both of us!”
“so ‘ere’s me plan, VanderHooten; you bring your ship, the Knot, alongside mine and we’ll off load all my cannons on to yours. Then you take a position here,” he pointed to a place on the charts, “there in the Gomez rocks. When Starz sees me **** make chase, and I’ll lead him right to you. It’ll be like takin’ candy from a baby!”
    Mad Rene was impressed.
“And I’ll send my gunner, you know him, Black Bryan from the Herbedes, and his crew to assist you The main thing is to be ready.”
“Oui! I believe this plan will work.”
“Good. Bryan!” The gunner entered. Prepare to off load the cannons on to Captain VanderHooten’s ship.”
Mad Rene left. Satisfied that the plan would work. Black Bryan began to follow.
“Oh, Bryan, hang back a minute.”
Black Bryan closed the cabin door.
“Don’t off load the cannon’s we salvaged from the Spainies’ wreck. I have a special use for them…two birds with one stone, as they say.”
    “Oh, Bryan,
As Bella sat thinking of what was to come she knew in her heart Scarred Geoffery was not a man who would fight the fight himself…he would recruit every mealy scum wharf rat there was to help him in his fight….so knowing his Achilles heel she would be ready for him as best she could…now if Mystic Rose would get back so they could ready the plan it would take a ship or two out of commission and make it a fair fight….Bella did her fighting in the water…leave the land stuff to the others….
Bella was restless and walking the cove…she came upon her favorite spot where she sat and watched her usual scenery…the young strapping men were challenging each other at the top of the water fall about which had the best attributes as they dove to the bottom of the water and scrubbed up…bella sat day dreaming of days just recently passed where she had enjoyed some of those very attributes from another…
Mystic Rose finally arrived back at the Cove,”Here’s your paints and supplies you requested captain. When I told your 93 year old grandmother what was up and that you would be indesposed for a bit she wanted me to remind you to wear your best hair ribbon when you sail into battle. You know the one, when you killed and skinned that 15 foot gator and you went under water in the death swirl..we thought you were gone but up you come and we had the best gumbo from that gator..” Capt Bella was used to Mystic Rose telling a tale when she had returned from a journey so listened quietly until the story was done and then got the maps out. ”o.k., this is what we do with the paint…I want you here, i’ll be here, judy the monkey will be here with the real ”Destination Unknown” and that gives us three opportunities to help the Glory…With Err Ol’Flyyn and his bruised ego I know he will be looking as hard for me as he will be looking for Starz…i left that feather which everyone knows is a signature feather somewhere on his body that he preferred it not be…Then i heard Timmy the Red got some tavern wench to come close with the keys to the jail where Jolly locked him up and he escaped and is running lose somewhere on the island..If Scarred Geoffrey comes abard your ship punch him straight in the mouth from Bella about the laundry remark.”..”Oh, Bella, you know you have a soft spot for Belmont.” ”The only spot I have for him is a wet spot in my bed. And i dont think it will be the time or place for that. Now if I know anything about the battle and Starz enemies they will come seeing red blood in their eyes and i will be as ready for them as i can…I am sure by now Err Ol’Flynn’s story has gotten out and Mad Rene will remember something very similiar happening to him in the past months by me and will tag along for revenge….Be Ready…

  • @fb100000944548853 Colonel Enrique Marrerro Jose de Jesus Maria Bruce de Esperanzo y Fortuna stood before his queen. ”Your Majesty,” said the Colonel, ”my sear cousin, Captain Hernando Velazques Jose Maria de Malacania Tabasco y Punctillo, whom you have favored in the past, has run afoul of those miserable English pig-dogs and their American lackeys. Treachery stalked an temporarily overcame him. I ask Your Majesty for the funds to outfit a fleet to avenge him. I have plans, Your Majesty, for a new Ship of the Line, the fastest, most heavily-armed ship the world has ever seen. With it in the van of a fleet, we can plunder and reclaim what rightfully belongs to Spain. I have instituted plans to return Tabby, Ol’Flynn, Timmy, and Geoffrey here, so we can use the hard-won expertise they have gained. Your Majesty, it is the destiny of Spain to take revenge and make those…those…those… those…those Ebglish and American Poo Poo Undies crawl before us!”
”Well, my Colonel,” Her Royal Majesty, The Queen, said to Colonel Enrique Marrerro Jose de Jesus Maria Bruce de Esperanzo y Fortuna. Indeed, Captain Hernando Velazques Jose Maria de Malacania Tabasco y Punctillo, your dear cousin, has been favored in the past by us. As he has occasionally favored us. But, I digress…. I am most distressed by the late turn of events in the Atlantic. I would restore our dominance in that body of water. MY dear Colonel Enrique Marrerro Jose de Jesus Maria Bruce de Esperanzo y Fortuna, you may have the funds you seek…on one condition.” ”Anything, anything at all, your Most Wonderful Majestyness,” stammered the Colonel. ”Well, Colonel, ”your name; it intrigues me. Especially ’Bruce.’ Tell me, how did that come to be part of your most magnificent sobriquet?” ”Ah, Majesty, that was a little-spoken-of dalliance on my revered Mother’s side, by her Grand-Great-Uncle, twice-removed. Or, so it is said behind closed doors, when the family is quite dr….indisposed, Your Majesty.”
”Oh and Bruce,” her Royal Majesty spoke, ”It has been told to me of your lollygagging with Capt. Bella when she rescued you off that sand bar in the Burmuda Triangle and your debt to her as we speak. Beware of her charms Bruce, your debt to the Queen is higher than anything you could have promised her.” Bruce nodded in agreement but in the back of his mind he remembered very well the debt owed…And it was worth paying…
George was sitting by the fire warming his toes and trying to figure out how to help Glory. He knew what was at stake for America…Those **** foreigners…they are like a knat buzzing around your head and landing on your best bowl of soup…do you swallow the knat with the soup for the added protein or put screen on your back porch to keep them out…”Martha please ask my first in command to step in.”..He then directed cannnons, men, prisoned men and women, kids who were imprisoned for skipping school, goats who looked **** and would distract some of the foreigners, and several extra ships to be dispatched to the cove to offer any assistance to Capt Jolly and Starz in their needs…He also sent a note that if Timmy the Red was any where near still on the island keep a closer eye on the goats…His first in command stated to George and Martha Washington that our country is forever appreciative of the help and went quickly to put things in order…..but, maybe they would not miss one goat that ended up at my home he thought to himself….
”Breasts. No, thighs…. No, breasts. Breasts? No, definitely thighs. No, breasts. Yes, breasts. No, not breasts; thighs. Oh, Bella,” thought Colonel Enrique Marrerro Jose de Jesus Maria Bruce de Esperanzo y Fortuna. ”Why cannot I make up my mind what chicken to have for my dinner?”
Having made some inquiries and making a list and checking it twice Capt Bella went to find Jolly or Starz to explain a few things….First of all gentlemen, no one makes a fool of Capt Bella….if she is to fight the good fight could someone explain why I am fighting for a man named Starz who really isn’t Starz but another…yes i know who you are and what has happened but what in the Stars on the Water is going on….i am waiting for an explanation….then i share my plan to take a few of the flaky spaniards,dutch,etc.etc. of of commission…just want it clear in my head…
Bella, when Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio killed my family I ceased being Admiral Richard Howe the day the Admiralty denied my request to hunt this scoundrel down and ordered me home. I went rouge, and now fight for freedom and to bring Captain Hernando Velazquez Jose Maria Jesus de Malacania Tabasco y Punctilio to my form of justice. Only luck and my poor footing allows this evil to live. I am Captain Starz and Glory under the command of Captain Jolly is my ship, I take my orders from him to reign in my rage of insanity. Starz colapses on the bunk in the Windchime’s infermery,,,,, @captwaypoint @@acajunbella @timk
The emissary of Colonel Enrique Marrerro Jose de Jesus Maria Bruce de Esperanzo y Fortuna, his Emminence, Count Jorge Habana Joaquin Hernando Jaime Heracio de la Himenez y Hernandez, got out of his carriage and walked to the door of Mount Vernon, where he was greeted with a cordial formality by the home’s owner, George Washington. The men shook hands, and George introduced their visitor to his wife, Martha, who did not curtsey as was the custom at Court, but, instead, shook the Count’s hand in the American fashion. ”We are most pleased to see you, Sir,” said she. ”Won’t you please come into our humble home?” ”Madame,” said he, ”It is a great pleasure to meet you and your esteemed husband, and to see your lovely estate. I am honored.” They went into he Verdigris sitting room, sat in comfortable chairs, and were served Sherry — otherwise known as Jerez — which their guest was quick to praise. Washington wasted no time on preliminaries. ”So, Count Hernandez, what brings you to our modest home?” Although Hernandez was used to the circumlocutions of the Spanish Court and the European Custom, he was prepared for this barbarous American directness, and did not hesitate. ”Sir, my Government has directed me to speak with you about the matter of the privateers, Starz and Jolly, and their ravages upon our ships in the open waters of the Atlantic. We protest these indignities most strongly, for are not those waters open to ships of all nations? Why have these two scoundrels been permitted to join with those British knaves to plunder innocent ships? We seek — my Majesties seek — justice, Sir.” Washington sipped his Sherry and looked at his wife, seeking in her eyes the level-headed advice she always gave. ”Sir, it is true, what you say. These men do not have the sanction of the American Government in their activities, and they are an embarrassment to our United States. However, they have committed to offenses directly against our laws, so the most I can do is close our ports to any ships they my be sailing, and deny them provisions and munitions. The rest is up to you.”
As the carriage of Count Jorge Habana Joaquin Hernando Jaime Heracio de la Himenez y Hernandez drove along the winding roadway leading to the gate of Mount Vernon, George Washington reflected on the delightful dinner he and Martha had had with their guest, and then turned his thoughts to solving the dilemma that his visit had posed. Surely, The fledgling United States of America had a growing right to assert its growing strength and authority over the hemisphere, but also, it had the responsibility to Do Right. Later generations — those ”defenders of the Republic” — might pooh-pooh this as a weakness, would probably see high ethical standards as an impediment to ruling over the ”lower classes”, but George Washington was, if nothing else, a Man of Principle, a Man of Right, a Man of High Ethical Standards, and most certainly NOT a despot, a would-be-king. How, then, to solve this dilemma? ”Martha, my Dearest, ” he murmured, ”let us adjourn to our private sitting room, have some more of that delightful Sherry, and talk of matters of great import.”
Martha who loved her sherry went happily along to visit with George. He asked her what she thought of the visitor. Martha without hesitation answered that she had never liked tattle tells and whiners….You don’t see us running to the kings and queens of the world crying foul play by their blackards. Why, because we know it was those very same people who hired them to attack us….I say George grow some guts about you and fight for this country….Don’t let the fair tears of a Spaniard cause you to falter now or I will be wondering what I married…I did notice you staring at his golden locks a bit longer than appropriate….Anyone with 8 names he calls himself cannot figure out who he is or what he is or where he’s been or where he is going….Leave that madness to Spain….

  • @fb100000944548853 The First Office asked the survivor what’s your name?
My name is Boggershime………..Sleepy Boggershime, that is what the Crewe called me Sir.
So my last night on that ship I was in the nest and there was nothing about and I fell asleep again. Back then I would fall asleep when ever things where not moving around me. That night was like all others and what if I did take a nap for 20 minutes, what is the harm? What I remember next answered that question from then on.
As I opened my eyes from my 20 minute nap, all I could see was Capt Jolly’s Face! And he said to me, “YOUR REQUEST TO GO ASHORE IS GRANTED! And then he grabbed my coat and flung me out of the nest into the Black. All I could see was a black ship with a Black flag in the black of night sail away.
The Crows nest proclaims that he sees a person in the water and they are alive. The Officer of the deck marked the time 1045 hours in the logbook. Captain Bellmore of the “Nickel Pride” orders to slacking the sails by coming 270 bearing relative to the wind and to launch a boat to pick up the survivor. Twenty minutes later the “Nickel Pride” was back to sailing on course.
I do remember that name for sure! Yes sir I do remember that name. It was 12 years ago and I was serving as seaman on the “Miss Fortune”. My duties were to swing my jobs so I could become a “duty leader”. Back then, I did not have any drive in my life and was very caviler in my actions. I keep getting into trouble and then I was relieved of my duties and sent to shore.
I would take advantages when I could. Being very smart back then I knew how to get around things. All the other Crewe members where so set in their actions and would not cut to the bottom line.
”Martha, Martha, Martha,” George iterated, succinctly and precisely. I understand whereof you speak, but, my sweet little shortcake, I cannot, alas, agree with you. I understand your sentiments, but these are MODERN times, and not the times of barbarians and iconoclasts. And I am, after all, me. I, that it is. I. The Spaniards may be the Spaniards, for they cannot help that. They are mired in the 16th Century, not in the present. Certainly, they need to be brought up to date, but that will not happen in an eye-blink. And, until that happens, we must, at the one and the same time, see the world both as we see it and as they see it. You see? Times, they are a-changin’. Frankly, I would take a bite out of the Spaniards….” ”George,” Martha replied, ”You wish you could take a bite out of anything.” ”Ah, Martha, my dearest bit….sweetheart, you do know how to….bring me back into line, don’t you? God’s teeth! Anyway, as I was saying, I would as soon have the Spaniards not be around. But, they are. Aren’t they? Around, I mean. Yes, of course, they are. Around. Around too many damned places. They are. Too many. Damned places. The Spaniards. But, I repeat myself. Again.” ”George, I don’t think you should have any more of that marvelous Sherry, my dear,” opined dear Martha. ”Yes, my Dearest Sweetest Loveliest Cuddliest Martha-Bunny,” said George, clicking his teeth together in that manner they both understood. Martha stood, gave George a fond, beckoning look, and went into their bedchambers. George wondered, not for the first time, how Boggershime’s mission was progressing.
While Bella was out riding her horse Lavida Loca named in memory of a man who had the same reputation as living the wild life but forgetting he was married to her sister whom Bella broke from those bad habits….he now limps with a cane and Bella asked who looks **** now…shake that hip…
She comes across 2 men talking on the far corner south of the island…they think they are alone and she sees one is Timmy the Red and one man unrecognizable…Timmy the Red is begging for a transport back on an unknown ship bound for Spain…but Timmy is having a hard time giving up the goat as part of payment….can’t the goat stay with me while on board Timmy grumbles and whines….No, we eat her for stew the man states and grabs the goat and walks off….Before Bella can sneak up on Timmy he slides down the mud hill just out of grasp of Bella…As she follows the other man and the goat she comes around a bend and like a ghost they are gone…hidden caves are all over…too long to look….got to get back before dark….
Sorry, Jolly. read your post as ”morning watch 6 balls” and thought you were bragging, again…………
Well no I only carry two but I do have replacements when I need them.
morning watch 6 bells – all is well. Ops Normal
Err Ol’Flynn sat in what passed for a bar in Morocco, trading small talk with a woman. Not just any woman, of course; THIS was a woman who had “been around.” Not “been around” in the ****** sense — though, one would suspect that there was an intrinsic element of that at work — but been around in the world-view sense. “Catherine Alice Maran is my name,” she told him, “but they call me Cat.” “And, so, Catherine Alice Maran, how is it that you are in a bar in Morocco?” Ol’Flynn asked. “Well,” says she, ” I was out in the South Pacific, you know, Tahiti and places like that, out among the natives, just takin’ the lay of the land, as it were.” “Lay of the land,” repeated Ol’Flynn, apropos of nothing. “And I’m working my way back to civilization, little by little. I have a design for a totally new type of ship that I want to raise money for to build,” she explained. “You, a woman, with a new ship design,” Ol’Flynn’s mouth ran away by itself, the local liquor assuming control. “Yes, me, a woman, with a new ship design, you pig. With the right funding, I could build the most fearsome warship yet devised, and I’ll not have any man — even one so comely as yourself, sir — tell me I cannot do it, even though a woman I be.”
So Err Ol’Flynn being of a character that was a character you would not be proud of sat and listened to the new design Catherine Alice Maran had designed. He kept plying her with warm grog and kept hoping for 2 final results…one that she would share necessary information to build the ship and two to just see how much she had been around on both levels that she could have been around on….he would decide soon whether to gain the info and kill her or keep her alive, let her build the boat and then kill her and claim the design as his…but he knew there would be no time to build such a boat before the battle with Glory so it did not matter at this point anyway….after many rounds he says” Let me ask you a question, ever heard of a Capt Bella in your travels”….She spits out the liquid she had intended to swallow, turns red in the face, and punches Err Ol’Flynn in the jaw and says”Don’t ever mention that cursed name to me again…I damned her to Davy Jones locker many years ago and pray her into misery every morning when i open my eyes and every night when i close them”….”oh, do tell ” says Err as he puckers up from the recent discomfort Bella had caused him…Kat was wearing a **** hat with 3 feathers swaying in the breeze and ever so often they would brush him and he would remember the grievance against him”Maybe I can help”…
VanderHooten had a plan of his own: he would first sink the Anteros at Gomez Rock, then take on the Glory. He hated Starz, but hated Scarred Geoffrey even more.
”Well, my ***** little *******,” Ol’Flynn said. ”**** it. I think that you and I should ******* for starters, and then we can *********. Why the **** not? And, later, perhaps, just for *******, we can ***, ****, and *******.”
“well,” kat said, ” we can do this, this and this, but no way in **** we are doing that ,that, and that….over my dead body..”
“as you wish” smiled ol’flynn….be careful what you wish for….
    ”Well,” Kat said, ”**** *** * ********** * * * * ************ ********* ********.”
Jolly was looking out to sea from his portals. Then he walked to his cabin door and said Mr Bitters, have the wood wright to come to my quarters……………………Wood wright I want this support post to be clad with timber planks today!
Three days later Jolly had the wood wright to replace the badly damaged planks with new owns and yet the same thing tree more days. During this time Jolly had his two swords sharpened three times plus polished this last time. The Krewe had heard from the old timers that the swords where a gift from his mentor as a young man. He never went anywhere without them. The old timers said also that Jolly had a weapon that no one had seen before. No one had ever survived against this weapon.
“Now ‘ere’s the rub, me hearties: We will sneak up on Mad Rene, stealthfully during the moonless night. Attack and sink the KNOT.
Black Bryan has his orders. **** turn the cannon on the ship as soon as we make our move. Now. look lively, mates, our battle is at hand.”
Scarred Geoffrey rocked back on his heels. He was supremely happy with his plan.

  • @fb100000944548853 Two seamen where talking over a small bottle of rum found behind a bolt of canvas. Last month I awoke to see Jolly siting in the shadow in the sleeping quarters, just sitting there. I nerve heard him come in nor did hear him leave. And I have heard other things like that and I know this for a fact, Starz can be snoring and hear everything you say.
Anne Bonny @aquaholic24 Has not pasted a report to the Cove for a long time and we should put her on the ”LOOKOUT LIST and keep a lookout for her. Last seen in Key West having the time of her life. Not seen scene.
Overboard Al, on your way through Key West you may want to investigate her status.

    @fb100000266502411
Mad Rene waited. It will not be long before I have both Scarred Geoffrey and Starz, he thought. The idea made him chuckle.
Mad Rene was standing at the rail and Out of the clear came a thought of something that his Uncle had told him a long time ago. Keep your thought about you at all times. Revenge is best served cold.
Has it been long enough for Starz to have put Mad Rene out of his mind or will Starz anticipate his next move?
