• Just brought the Robert Allan II from Montrose Harbor to her winter berth in the Chicago River. Expect to get in a bit more river cruising until we have to cover her for the winter season. Looking forward to having our annual Christmas party on board in late Dec. Hope I don’t have to shovel a long path like last year!

  • Weather’s getting a bit brisk these days. Had the opportunity recently to sail with a friend on his beautiful wooden 1965 Fisher Mackinac 40 sloop. He’s thinking of sailing her in the Mac again next year. I’m up for that!

  • Still enjoying the moderate weather on the Chicago River on the Robert Allan II our 1936 Grebe sedan cruiser. Might have a river charter in January.
