Just brought the Robert Allan II from Montrose Harbor to her winter berth in the Chicago River. Expect to get in a bit more river cruising until we have to cover her for the winter season. Looking forward to having our annual Christmas party on board in late Dec. Hope I don’t have to shovel a long path like last year!

Weather’s getting a bit brisk these days. Had the opportunity recently to sail with a friend on his beautiful wooden 1965 Fisher Mackinac 40 sloop. He’s thinking of sailing her in the Mac again next year. I’m up for that!

Still enjoying the moderate weather on the Chicago River on the Robert Allan II our 1936 Grebe sedan cruiser. Might have a river charter in January.
