Walden kayaks are constructed of recycled plastic milk containers – my son has a tandem and is completely satisfied with the quality and performance. Unfortunately, the company closed due to lack of available milk jugs – which are easy to recycle.

My favorite would have to be under the subheading ’Songs of the (Inland) Sea’ – and that is ”Seven Island Suite” by Gordon Lightfoot. His inspiration was Lake Huron, Canadian coast. If you ever see a red convertible with the Florida license plate ’7 Island’ wave – it will be me!
