When we asked readers to pick the winner of the Melges 32 class at Quantum Key West 2012 for our Fantasy Sailing League, John Kilroy Jr.’s Samba Pa Titeam received more votes than any other entrant in the 19-boat fleet. “Discover” Southend-On-Sea

Located less than an hour’s train ride from London, and accessible by rail, road or air, Southend-on-Sea is a water lover’s paradise.  Offering the cleanest beaches in the UK, with seven miles of oceanfront, there is truly something for everyone.  If you’re planning on attending the Olympics, Southend-on-Sea is located just beyond where the games will take place, and offer great shops, restaurants and casinos if you should find yourself with some downtime.  The Olympic torch will visit Southend-on-Sea on July 6th!
