When the whole of Sweden is celebrating “Midsummer”, you feel a bit lonely in England. But that is part of the game. In order to get everything into a perfect match you need to prioritize.

The Sailing academy in Portland has just closed for sailors. The Olympic organization is making their last preparations at the venue,  just as everybody else, which has forced us to change our training facilities.

Next time when we come back to Weymouth we will move in to the newly built Olympic village. The upcoming month will mean many new impressions. It now feels great having spent so much time in Weymouth. That gives us a sort of solid ground to stay on which helps when you try to keep everything simple and stay focused on your own performance.

The confidence that we earned by experiencing the Olympic games in 2008 Beijing gives us a lot of momentum right now. We know what to expect.
